I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Doctorate in Community Psychology from North Carolina State University, where I also became Certified Family Life Educator. I have spent much of my career researching pathways to wellbeing for young people and their families, paying attention to the impact of community, culture, and connection. My collective educational experiences inform my community-based work with youth and families as a therapeutic mentor, parent-coach, and quality assurance supervisor. It also serves as the foundation for the way that we approach service delivery at Greenhouse Provisions - where we prioritize the use of evidence-based practices and translating research into everyday strategies that strengthen relationships, build resilience, and help youth and families feel seen and supported. Our goal is simple: to create a space where science meets real life, and where youth and families can grow toward the futures they imagine for themselves.
